  38. This README file accompanies the 3C523 driver for NetWare 386 v3.0.
  39.  
  40.  
  41. This new server driver is considered in beta form inasmuch as it has not
  42. undergone a full suite of Novell LAN driver testing.  The workstation
  43. drivers have been fully tested.  These drivers do not support the twisted
  44. pair board (3C523-TP).
  45.  
  46. To install the 3C523 drivers:
  47.  
  48. 1)      Copy the S3C523.OBJ and S3C523.LAN files to the SHGEN-1 diskette or
  49. subdirectory.
  50.  
  51. 2)      Run SHGEN and select 3Com 3C523 EtherLink/MC V2.30EC (881010) for
  52. your workstation diskette.
  53.  
  54. 3)      Copy 3C523.LAN to your NetWare system start-up area (SYS:SYSTEM
  55. and/or DOS partition).
  56.  
  57. 4)      Load the server driver as you normally would on your system.
  58.
